HOW THE LEAGUE WORKS:
Summit FLAG operates as one connected academy style league with age appropriate divisions
-
Rookie Group: ages 6 to 8
-
Junior Group: ages 9 to 11
Players train within their division and work with multiple coaches. Balanced teams are created for game nights and may change throughout the season.
Placement considers age, experience, skill, size, confidence, safety, attendance, and overall league balance. Players may move between groups or teams when an adjustment creates a better experience.
This format helps us create:
-
More touches and playing opportunities
-
Better coaching groups
-
Safer matchups
-
Balanced games
-
More skill development
-
A fun first flag football experience
